"I think about the cosmic snowball theory.
A few million years from now the sun will
burn out and lose its gravitational pull.
The earth will turn into a giant snowball
and be hurled through space. When that
happens it won’t matter if I get this guy out."
-Bill Lee (Major League Pitcher, 1969-1982)
I imagine it wouldn't even take that long
to realize how fleeting any moment would
be in the grand scheme of things. We just
have to remind ourselves that we, and this
moment, aren't all THAT striking, despite
any appearance to the contrary.

Makes me think about investing more contemplation about terraforming; true though, who knows what could happen, where and when it could happen, why it happened, and who made it happen if anyone/anything. In the time we've got, go for what you really want while you've got time.
