Who wants to be hypnotized when they could be hypnotouched*?

(It's ALL) About Me (yeah, right!)

I am about many things...to box me into ONE would be a very big mistake.

People experience me as intelligent and offbeat, with a perspective that is NOT down the worn path.
Those who enjoy speaking with me quite frequently find things they didn't even know they were looking for.
If what I have to say seems interesting or might be helpful to you, let's talk!

There is a chat box in the right column,
feel free to chat with others when I am not there, or with me, when I am.
(If you're hearing *blips* while visiting, there is likely to be conversation going on at the time).

Having Difficulty Trancing?

I was speaking with someone recently
who is having difficulty trancing.
He analyzes everything. Likely that
ability is great in his every day life
and likely even his job, but in the
hypnotic realm, it is a quality that
is likely torpedoing him.

When thinking about it I came up with
the following metaphor. It may interest you
even if you consider yourself hypnotizeable,
but it is more for those who agonizingly
attempt to trance.

It is kinda like being at the beach, having a conversation as you move to the car, and talking about how it would be to go up to the mountains. You keep talking about what it could be like to get there. You wonder how you would get there, all at the same time, the car is moving. You debate different parts of what you would perceive the experience to be, all the while you continue on the road. At times the conversation might be more passionate, or even more heated. You wonder what it would be like to feel the changes in atmosphere, you wonder how the road would be, would it be smooth? Would it curve? What would the weather conditions be like. You even mention the beach because you are looking to compare it somehow to this unknown. You go back to what you know, as you don't know what to expect regarding the journey up to the mountains. You have a very intense conversation, and sometimes may go onto other things, but then you come back to Hypnosis. When you come back you wonder again what it would be like, and at times you close your eyes, considering what would be possible. You have no idea how much time has passed, you've been so caught up in the conversation, you were oblivious to what happened around you, and then you suddenly realize that you are IN the mountains...but you have no idea how you got there. All those things you were speculating about were happening, but you missed the actual experiences in your speculation. However, you look around, and you wonder, even though there is no denying that you are in the mountains, if you could really be in the mountains, after all you have no idea how you got there, and if you don't know how you got there, is it possible to be there? You are indeed exactly where you want to be, you just have to recognize it.

12345 awake and alert...just in case the
above made you trance. It wasn't meant
to...however it is a great example of how
the effects of Hypnosis are more common,
and (subtly) in more places, than realized.
