Who wants to be hypnotized when they could be hypnotouched*?

(It's ALL) About Me (yeah, right!)

I am about many things...to box me into ONE would be a very big mistake.

People experience me as intelligent and offbeat, with a perspective that is NOT down the worn path.
Those who enjoy speaking with me quite frequently find things they didn't even know they were looking for.
If what I have to say seems interesting or might be helpful to you, let's talk!

There is a chat box in the right column,
feel free to chat with others when I am not there, or with me, when I am.
(If you're hearing *blips* while visiting, there is likely to be conversation going on at the time).

How Perception Can Shape Interpretation of Reality

Ever been to a museum of Science and Industry?

They are some cool places to visit.
Many of the things you see will
challenge you to think.

(hmmm...)

Any way, I came across a note I had made of
an exhibit I had seen on one of my visits.
I believe it was at the museum in Queens, NY.

If I remember correctly, I wrote exactly what
the exhibit explained, because it just was
so metaphorically perfect for other things
that we do.

I share it (if there is some reason I
shouldn't in this crazy world we live in
now someone should let me know) as a way
of being potentially helpful to another.

The emphasis of some words below is mine.

--

Most windows are rectangles. When a rectangle
window is angled away from you, the farther
edge seems smaller. Because of your past
experience
, your brain assumes the window
in the exhibit is rectangular and that one edge
appears smaller only because it is farther away.

But one edge really is smaller. When the smaller
edge moves closer to you, the brain refuses to
see
it closer. Instead, it assumes that the window
is now rotating in the opposite direction -
therefore it appears to swing back and forth.

--

From the blurb you might get that beside this
description there was a window shaped object
hanging nearby that was moving in such a way
to create the illusion.

Best if you can actually see in action, but
it still may give you something to consider.

How many times do we act - based on past
experience, in some way refusing to see the
present because of what we think we know,
making assumptions that ultimately get us
into dilemmas because what we believe to
be "true" is inaccurate?

If you can say you've never done that, I
would LOVE to meet you! :P

Have a great day.

Trying to Prove Something in an Inappropriate Context

This is something I wrote to
someone regarding a situation
he was in. I share it in case
someone else might find the
perspective helpful.

It's like saying 2+2=metal.
Metal has nothing to do with
2, and you'll never prove it,
no matter how determined you
are, or how many times you try,
or how long you stick with it.

There are times you may feel
that you need to prove that
you are a good man by staying
in an unhealthy marriage.

Your equation is something
like me+staying with my wife
=me being a good man.

It doesn't work that way.

You are a good man, and
you don't need proof, and
you don't need to feel
like you need to stay
unhappily in a situation
to prove it since it is
impossible to prove that
you are a good man.

It is something that
you just are.

It is something that can
coordinate with your actions,
but is actually separate
from them.

You can still be a good man,
and refrain from doing what
others (or even you) believe
a good man "should."

And - if by some chance
you actually want to try
any way - a good man will
always take care of himself
first - and is always honest
with himself - or else what
does he truly have to give
another?

From a Satisfied Caller | About Me

"After a session with you I'm always
left with a feeling of satisfaction.
As a very shy man who has been
fixated with hypnosis from old vampire
and witchcraft movies, I have always
fantasized about being taken by an
erotic enchantress. Since I first
joined Niteflirt I have contacted many
mistresses but most of them have been
disappointments.

You, however, have never failed to meet
my expectations. Most of the others
seem only interested in phone sex.
While I find the erotic side of the
conversation important, I always prefer
a strong hypnotic induction as a teasing
foreplay. Many others are into
feminization and homosexuality. I am
completely turned off by just the thought
of that. While I know in contacting a
mistress I have to do as I'm told, I hate
to be put into a situation that makes me
uncomfortable.

In short the reason I keep returning to
you is you listen to me and try to meet
my wants."

Thank you!

When You're Done You're Done

Have you ever been so done with someone
or something that you have felt free
and liberated?

There is something really amazing about
being done with something that it can
energize and charge you and even change
you (although odds are it was change
that already occurred that prompted the
shift in the first place).

On the other hand, when you know you're
done, but you don't know how to be done,
or don't allow yourself to be done,
have you ever noticed how it can be a
BIG, HUGE DRAG AND DRAIN?

I mention this because I am in the process
of sorting through a number of things, and
am finding it easy to let a lot of them go.

At the same time there are a few things
that are more charged for me, and even
though I know it likely best to move on,
I find it more difficult.

Ironically, a few of the things I have had
difficulty letting go of got broken, which
has now left me no choice but to let go.

I was thinking how in some ways that is
like a relationship that should have ended,
but is still clung on to for one reason
or another - likely ones we don't understand.

After a time we are so desperate to let it
go, we find ways to break it so that there
is no other choice.

I find that there are some men who want to be
outted in a way that would be uncomfortable
and unpleasant because they are unable to
make the choice they know they should, and
if someone else makes it for them, there is
no recourse, and there's no going back.

Odds are in cases like that the pain would be
much less for those involved (including you)
if you could just make the choice instead of
needing to break this thing that you at one
time loved.

Think about it...especially if love was once
involved...doesn't it deserve to be left
intact?

Just a thought.

As always, you can take or leave my thoughts.
Not everything fits for everyone. However,
if it fits, consider what in your life is
ready to be let go of, and see what you can
do to take the steps to move on.

Will it be easy?
Probably not.

Will it suck?
Possibly.

Will it be worth it?
More than likely.

Want some help?
Need some support?
If you think I could help,
I am only a phone call away.

Have a good evening.
:)

"Watching you is the only drug I need..." | Video

Wonder if there is hypnosis involved?

Sensuality is My Middle Name | About Me

Long before I was Isis The Enchantress,
I was told how sensual I am.

Apparently sensuality oozes through me
and people can't help but notice by the
words I use, the way I speak, the way
I dress, the way I move...the way I AM.

Interestingly, I know I am sensual, but
my experience of me is not the same as
the experience others have of me.

I don't always fully understand what
they are latching onto and appreciating,
but what I DO KNOW is that they do.

To me, the experiences I have speak
volumes about what is possible. I
think sometimes people are so ready
to get to the finish line, they miss
all of the wonderful things along the
way.

Of course, it is their choice to do that,
however I wonder how many of those types
of people realize that there is something
that is missed in their approach. And,
if they don't know, what would they do
if they did know?

Many times the guys who come to me
appreciate the art of sensuality. There
are some who are willing to open themselves
up to the idea that there may be something
more, and as a result will let me guide
them to the pleasures of SENSuality (not
to be confused with SEXuality).

A few years ago I went to New Mexico.
I flew into Albuquerque and decided to
drive up to Santa Fe. Prior to my drive
I met a local who suggested a route through
the mountains that wasn't a clearly obvious
choice to make.

He told me about the many things along the
way that I would be able to see, and the
trip took about twice as long as it would
have on the highway.

It was well worth taking his advice.
The scenery was gorgeous, and I would
have most certainly have missed out if
I was just seeking to get to my destination.

The same holds true in the realm of sensuality.

You can get to your destination one of many
ways. Some will be more cut and dry and
some will be more "scenic." It is always
your choice as to which way you want to go.

The average guy has an orgasm in just 7 1/2
minutes. If you are looking to be average,
sensual may or may not be for you. I find
that most guys who enjoy the sensual route
aren't so inclined to get to the finish line
that quickly - sometimes even slowing ME down,
and/or adding extra minutes.

I have spoken to the sprinters as well as
those who have a leisurely visit with me.
I have also used hypnosis to create an
environment in which there can be sensuality
in a relatively short time frame.

That's what is fun about what I do. So
many possibilities, and so much pleasure
awaits.

What are you waiting for?

The Complexity of Sex and Relationship

I was introduced to a new site yesterday
call the Secret Society of Women. (It
may not be what you think.)

It is a site that allows women to share
what is on their mind, anonymously. It
is a way of forging a "sisterhood."

I'd also say it is a way to peer into
how SOME women think, and SOME
women's experiences.

I'd say perspective is good, as it allows
one to see the myriad of possibilities,
and not just the ones that seem to stick
out the most.

Many of the men I speak with have wives
who don't want much sex, if any at all.
Those men likely know of other men and
other stories of the same scenario in
the lives of others. It would be easy
to believe that it is only women who
don't want to have sex with men.

On the Secret Society website there is
a forum, and there is one posting from
a woman who is in her 30s and in a sexless
marriage. There are several who reply
to her who tell their similar tale
.

Many people get into a relationship
thinking that they know the person
they're getting into a relationship
with, but then it seems that the person
changes. It may be a change, and it
may just be another facet is being
shown at a different stage of the
relationship.

It can be maddening and sad for a
person who feels betrayed and deceived
by what they thought they knew. It
can also be frustrating for a person
who believes that there is nothing
wrong with them, and yet there is an
implication of a problem.

Many of these women even asked their
men if they were gay. While some may
be, and may not be willing to say,
there are men who are just not that
into sex, period. Society isn't so
willing to believe that because the
prevailing message often is that the
guy is the one who always wants sex.

Our lack of willingness to accept the
various gradations of personalities
and behaviors can ultimately create
a problem because people don't feel
free to be who they are.

Communication - which often isn't
the best any way - will break down,
and people will find themselves very
unhappily in a relationship, suffering
and unwilling to leave.

In some cases what happens comes from
the nature of the person, in other
cases it comes from the circumstances
the person is involved in. I know of
a few instances in which a person
couldn't have sex with his wife because
of hypnosis.

Of course, there are other reasons as
well. Some will indulge in porn as an
escape from life, or as a way to
emotionally stay distant, perhaps in an
attempt to stay "safe."

As human beings when we get hurt, we do
what we can to stay away from it again.
As a result, there are behaviors that
happen that aren't always the best or
healthiest. However, there are also
distinct types of personalities that act
a certain way, and it is a part of their
make up.

It may be difficult to know which is
which, however there are some ways one
may be able to tell.

Having said that, communication and
understanding without defensiveness and
attacking are key to working out a
compromise.

Then, too, there are those who will use
hypnosis to manipulate what does and
doesn't happen and how frequently it
occurs. That may be OK, and it could
also be less than ideal if it overwrites
a person in a way that has them feeling
discontent or unhappy.

Whenever manipulating what a person is,
it is important to know why one is being
manipulated that way. If it is done
for the wrong reasons, it can do much
more harm than good.

Some will do what they do without regard
to what it does to the person they're
interacting with. All that seems to be
important is something much more selfishly
motivated.

In any relationship there is a mix of
those people involved. It is a sensitive
and unique mix and when treated with love
and respect can bring some wonderful things
to those in it. An ability to relate and
communicate is also key.

Without these things, what we wind up
having a relationships with no soul.
We wind up with relationships of
convenience that are full of discontent,
relationships with seeds of possible new
relationships that instead of responding
to it on its own merits, will REact to what
did/didn't happen in the previous
relationship.

There are things to learn and discover.
Some of those things might end a relationship,
other of those things might actually save and
enhance one. Much of it has to do with what
is important to you, and what you are willing
to accept, and accept responsibility for.

Life is full of opportunities, many of which
we don't know about until - or if - we go
looking. If you are unhappy you have options,
but I'll warn you that the best one or ones for
you won't always be convenient or desirable.

That alone will stop many from acting on making
a change. I have a question for you though.
What if you could create a relationship that
truly works for you? Would you want it?

If the answer is yes, you might want to consider
that you are doing yourself a disservice by
settling for what you have.

(By the way, I am not suggesting that all this
means that you have to leave the relationship
you are in. There's nothing saying you can't
have the relationship you want with the person
you are currently with...it just may seem a
little more challenging, depending on your
current circumstances.)

As always, there is more to me than might meet
the eye. If you'd like to discuss this more,
or think what I have said makes sense, and I
could be of some assistance, let's talk. :)

All the BEST to you, always.
Isis

Zoot Zoot Zoot | On Loving People | Video

This was a very wacky and enjoyable video
to watch that has some really great
information that I thought others (maybe
YOU?) would enjoy.

If you have the time, consider watching.
If you don't have the time, consider
making the time.

The message is a wonderful gift,
and for those with kids, it may
be a gift you give them.

In it she discusses forgiveness.
What she says is great, and I want
to add something I heard from
someone else about the term.

Apparently in its origin to forgive
means to "release the effect" of
whatever that thing is on oneself.

It doesn't mean to let someone off
the hook, but it means to allow
yourself to stop being affected
by the event(s) that occurred.

So the next time it seems someone
does something that seems to need
forgiveness, remember that your
act is something you do for you,
and not for anyone else.

It is a gift you give yourself.

Hope you're having a wonderful
evening/night/day/morning...
moment!
