Who wants to be hypnotized when they could be hypnotouched*?

(It's ALL) About Me (yeah, right!)

I am about many things...to box me into ONE would be a very big mistake.

People experience me as intelligent and offbeat, with a perspective that is NOT down the worn path.
Those who enjoy speaking with me quite frequently find things they didn't even know they were looking for.
If what I have to say seems interesting or might be helpful to you, let's talk!

There is a chat box in the right column,
feel free to chat with others when I am not there, or with me, when I am.
(If you're hearing *blips* while visiting, there is likely to be conversation going on at the time).

Just thought I'd share some music

This morning I was listening to Mr. President.
It has been a while since I heard them.

Below is one of the songs I heard. I thought
I would share it with you, as the lyrics might
give you a thing or two to think about.
(not including the two attractive women in the
video - smile).

For me, it was one of those times that lyrics
take on a new meaning when I haven't heard them for
a while. Have you ever noticed that for yourself?

I won't spell out for you what I was thinking,
as I don't want to take your fun away.

Enjoy!

My Own Agenda, hmmmm?

Today someone left me negative
feedback - twice. This, after
he initially left positive
feedback.

Here is his history, so you
know what I am talking about:

a customer's feedback

I share this with you because
situations like this frustrate
and sadden me.

As much as I try my best to
put out "there" who I am, and
how I am, it seems that there
are occasionally people who
don't get it. There is a
certain cookie-cutter expectation
that I am somehow supposed to
fall into.

What I find ironic (and almost
funny) about his feedback
is the fact that MOST
people would say a hypnodomme
is SUPPOSED to have her own
agenda.

I wrote him after his first
1* rating, asking why the 1*.
I do that as a general rule
when it is not clear to me
why 1* is left. Apparently
he felt compelled to let everyone
know his opinion.

It some ways it makes me sad,
as it seems that there are
people who think that I should
just "DO" them hypnotically.
They have no idea what they
are getting themselves into.

There are people who call me
somehow thinking that they
know best, even when they
don't know anything about
hypnosis...and have never seen
the negative.

The result I experience is
a negative rating because
I feel that everyone who
calls me has a RIGHT to know
what is possible. I suppose
some people wouldn't agree.
However, they don't know
what they don't know.

I may caution someone
more than once
especially when he has
an experience of being unable
to recall our session,
because, as my blog shows,
oftentimes guys think they
are invincible, and wind up
getting themselves into trouble.

I suppose I could choose to
stop doing that, but I find
that most who speak with me
APPRECIATE my approach, and
the fact that I DO care - and
there may come very positive
things as a result. (I say,
"if you only knew what I knew,"
for a reason.)

But it is NOT who I am,
so if this doesn't work for
you, do us both a favor,
and call someone else.

Believe me when I say that
the most important thing
for me is that you get what
you want - even if it is
with someone else.

Just to be clear about what
you can expect,
so that you can decide if
you want to have a hypnotic
erotic experience with me,
I thought I would
MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR
what you can expect on a call:

I will NEVER take your money just to take it.
I will ALWAYS want to know what you want,
and I will ALWAYS do my best to deliver.
I will ALWAYS respect you and what you want, but NEVER do anything consciously that I feel could be to your detriment.
I will ALWAYS be honest with you about
where my capabilities and limits are,
AND I will ALWAYS take a few moments/minutes to
explain to you (make sure you understand)
what you might be getting yourself into.

Yes, you are horny,
but no you do not deserve to go
into the experience blindly,
even if you are cocky enough
to believe otherwise.

There is definitely much
more to me than meets the
eye and ear. Several of
my callers know this,
because the opportunity
has arisen to allow it,
and several will never
know, because the call is
all about them.

I truly do care about you
and your experience, and will
never compromise on what I
have to offer, or on my
responsibility to you as
a hypnotist.

If you don't like it,
there are others to
choose from.

Be well.

Ever wondered if you have lived before?

Did you know that the process of
Past Life Regression is a hypnotic state?

LOL. Where did this come from?
It's very unlikely you expected
to see anything like this on a
blog like this.

By now, if you've been reading as
we go along, you see I cover a myriad
of subjects. Perhaps this is the
farthest one out there yet.

Perhaps you don't believe in it,
or it's not for you.
That is understandable.
Many people believe that we get
one shot at life and, then, that's it.

As far as I am concerned, if that's
all you believe, maybe you are right,
and that is truly all there is. To me,
what comes before and after this moment
is not nearly as important as THIS
moment.

There is a great saying about what the
PRESENT is. If we are paying attention
in the moment, every moment has the
opportunity to be a gift - if we are
are paying attention.

What is helpful to recognize about
Past Life Regression is that it is
a hypnotic state, which means that
it is one that is more open than
our conscious state. For that reason,
it is often better able to give us
the answers we might be looking for,
and sometimes answers to questions
we didn't even know we had.

There have been some pretty amazing
stories that have come via people's
experiences with the idea of their
own past lives.

I mention it here in part because
I wonder sometimes if the fetishes
and sexual desires that people have
come exclusively from here and now,
or if there is something that goes
deeper.

I have done past life regressions
with a few of my callers, and have
found what seems to be some correlation -
at least in THEIR case.

I never believe anything is bad or
good...however, I think information
can be a helpful thing. The times
I did the regressions, the information
that came up was helpful to the person
I was speaking with.

To be fair, it doesn't take much for
the mind to build relationships and
associations. It could very well be
something that came from a childhood
experience (or any experience really)
that was reinforced many times.

However, there are a couple of pieces here.
One is that the earlier the interest,
especially if it is strong, the more interesting
(in my mind) it is to look at from a
past life perspective possibility. Ever see
very young children who have seeming
inexplicable talents? Might past life
possibilities be a potential explanantion?

The other part to this is that every person
and experience is unique. What is it
about that person at that time in that
circumstance that gives birth to that
particular dynamic? Why is it that for
one it will "stick" and for another it
is inconsequential?

Could it be there is something more?

Perhaps it is something to think about.

Perhaps it will do nothing more than
just give you an appreciation for what
you have now.

Perhaps you have another option.

Any which way you go, it's all good.

If this is of interest to you, feel free
to write me about your interest, your
opinions, and to ask any questions you
might have. You can write me at
Isis @ IsisTheEnchantress.com, please
just put something about the blog entry
in the subject line so I know that your
email is not spam.

Thanks for listening..Have a good one!

Wanted to share...

I just wanted to share an email I
received recently.

I enjoy speaking to most of my callers,
and often wonder what happens in the
time between calls, especially if I haven't
heard from someone in a while. I love hearing
from them in general, but it is particularly
gratifying to hear how what we did together has
made a difference for them.

I am often asked how I can use hypnosis
to help in non-sexual ways. Here is one
example of how I was able to assist someone
with an issue that he had:

"Just wanted to thank you for our sessions...
You helped me with my self-esteem and motivation,
and I was able to motivate to get a job
which I love! I had been in a funk' and
you really energized me, Isis.
I'll be calling you soon
for a recharge!" -Schmeep

If there is anything you might want to change,
hypnosis might be able to assist. Feel free to
write, and ask about it.

All the Best,
Isis

I Love Surprises!

Just now I redeemed two Amazon Gift Certificates.

They came to me through IsisWantsYou @ Yahoo.com,
and they came anonymously.

Recently there had been another anonymous gift
certificate sent there as well.

I just love surprises! The only thing is that
because they're anonymous, I am unable to thank
the good boy(s?) who sent them.

So...I will just thank him (or them) publically.

I just LOVE those gifts! Thank you.

To all...
Have a great Labor Day, and week.

Just Stop. Uh-huh.

I was watching some videos on YouTube.

It is an incredible odyssey doing that.

You never know quite where you will wind up.

One video of note was one by a woman
who approaches the "psychology" of fetish.

In her video and approach she said that
if something you are getting off to bothers
you, stop doing it.

It sounds simple enough.

But let me ask you, how many times do
you do something, and know it's not "good"
for you (like smoking) and know that you
should stop, and don't? How many people
know how to lose weight, but don't, or
lose it and can't keep it off?

Apparently something is missing. The "thing"
that is missing (in my opinion) is what is
unconsciously occurring - the waves below
the surface.

If you still do something, and you know
it's something you'd rather not be doing,
it doesn't mean that all of you agrees.

In actuality, there is a part of you that
believes that that way IS the "right" way
to go because you get something
you are unaware of out of it, and it
will sabotage your conscious efforts every
time because if you "give up" that thing,
then you give up the benefits it believes
you get from it.

For instance, let's say you smoke. As a
smoker, you get to leave work periodically
to smoke and, in essence, take a break.
You NEED those breaks, and unconsciously
your mind might think it needs smoking as
an excuse to take those breaks. You give
up smoking, and your mind thinks it'll be
giving up the breaks too.

Your mind might do everything to sabotage
your efforts, but from an unconscious place
(remember what I said earlier about the
unconscious parts of us - it has a lot to say
about who we are and what we do, and it is why
when willpower meets the unconscious self,
and they're at odds, it often loses).
If you don't realize this is happening,
you would be unable to give yourself the
break without smoking and feel good about it,
getting what you need.

Once upon a time you made a pleasurable association.
Then you went back to it again because it
brought you pleasure the first time. It became
something "known" that could bring you pleasure.

Did you have to consciously say you wanted to
reinforce it? No. However, you didn't have to.
The very fact that you kept going back to it did
it for you.

Interestingly I sometimes find people who have
interests saying, "This is the way I am," or
"This is who I am" while at the same time I hear
something in their voice that is somewhat resigned
or unhappy.

What they don't realize is that it may be at the
moment who they are because of the conditioning
they've had, but that it doesn't have to remain
them, and that other pleasurable behavior can
replace it.

How threatened do you feel when something you
think is a part of you might be taken away? It
may not even be something you'd consider positive.
That can be your unconscious mind at work. You
get something from it that you think you understand,
but don't really, and you don't want to give it up.
If you truly understood it, you would be much
more able to "control" it than to have it control you.

However, just like the cigarette example above,
the essence and purpose can remain, but just
have a different reason for happening, if you
are willing to allow it. You can get your
conscious and unconscious selves to agree to the
essence of what takes care of you, instead of it
having the essence and the thing collapsed into one.

At the point of awareness is where change can occur.
Sometimes you can do it on your own, and sometimes
you can use hypnosis, and an ethical hypnotist, to help.

I find in the erotic world, most people will
use hypnosis to strengthen the connections,
even when it doesn't necessarily work. In some ways,
it makes perfect sense, as these things are tied
to the sexuality of the person, a very primal part
of who we are.

However, I bring this up to show how it is possible to
use hypnosis to change behavior that you
previously were resigned to, and/or victimized by.

One last thing. Sometimes I get calls from
people who essentially want to be victimized
by me. For the record, they don't say they want
to be "victim" per se. Rather, they tell me they
want me to blackmail them, and control them. They
want me to control everything in their lives, even
to their detriment.

It is never anything that I want to be a part of,
because the hypnosis I would do could only make
the association stronger, and whether or not the
person continued with me, it could be transferred
to another (among many other reasons, not specific
to this conversation).

Incidentally, when someone "indulges"
in this type of "relationship" with another, it
can be hypnotic, even without "official" hypnosis
because of the power of association.

I mention this because I would suggest that there
is a strong possibility that victimization (especially
of the "erotic" type), came from an association
made somewhere along the line, and was reinforced
over and over even before a person even sought someone
like me out.

It could explain why people seek out problems, and
bury themselves further, even though what they do
winds up hurting themselves and those in their lives.

Stopping doing something will certainly help.
However, alone, it is questionable how effective
it can be. In addition, there is an expression
that "what you resist, persists." Resist something,
without replacing it with something else, and you
are only likely making that thing you want to stop
stronger.

As usual...just something to think about.

Have a great weekend!

Let's see who's listening...

I want to try a little experiment.

I want to know who is coming here to "visit."

If you are listening to me,
I want to hear from you, too.

This will involve (and benefit) you,
if you are a caller of mine on Niteflirt.

Email me on NF, and tell me
"I am listening Isis,"
and I'll give you
10 free minutes of calling
(in the "usual" 5 minute increments,
and where applicable, as always).

This will involve (and benefit) you,
if you are not yet a caller of mine on Niteflirt.

If you are not yet a Niteflirt caller,
I'd love to hear from you, too.
Send me an email at
Isis at IsisTheEnchantress.com,
and put
"I am listening Isis"
in the Subject Line,
and tell me what's on your mind,
and what your interests are,
and I will see what I can
do for you and your interests.

Let's see what happens!
Have a great weekend,

Seeing Things Differently

Hello!

It has been awhile since my last post.

I hope you have been enjoying your summer.

I was traveling for a bit, and have been
working on some non-Isis projects which
have kept me busy.

As much as I enjoy talking to y'all, there
is more to me than just a sexy voice. I
know that isn't what you are always wanting
to hear, or interested in, but then again,
sometimes it is helpful to know.

Lately I have been talking to some of my
callers about "real" life issues. You
would be amazed by what is possible
hypnotically in your "real" life - as
opposed to the virtual one you have with
me. If you are interested in hearing
more, feel free to contact me at isis at
isistheenchantress.com.

Before ending this entry, I wanted to
share with you something I read. It is
a story of a 65 year old painter who
became color blind after an accident.

At first, he was depressed, even suicidal.
After a time, though, there were those
who thought that they may be able to
bring back his ability to see colors.

His reaction surprised them, "he thought
the suggestion unintelligible, and
repugnant."

Why do I share this with you? Because
it reminded me of what I have seen happen
with hypnosis. A person starts out one
way and gradually over time is conditioned
to react to things differently, just as
a painter who lost his color sight would be.

In time, this "new" person comes to see
the world differently, and anything that
could threaten to upset the new norm is
unwelcome.

As I always say, be VERY careful what you
wish for, you might just get it.

BTW, in case you are interested in where
this story came from, it's a book called
An Anthropologist on Mars, by Oliver Sacks.

:-)
