Sometimes I write so much about my
concerns about how hypnosis can affect us,
I am always happy to hear about some
positive effects. I thought you might
find them interesting as well.
I recently received the following email
from one of my callers. I wanted to
share it with you, so that you get an
idea of how hypnosis can help in "real
life."

I just wanted to say thank you
for the excellent call I had with you,
and just let you know you had
a positive impact on me. I don't know if
you remember me, but I'm an ICU nurse,
and one of the things we talked
about was how to avoid stress.
[what we did] helped me a lot yesterday...
and it really helped me get through
[a] situation [I had with a patient].
Thank you again for your help.
The call itself was awesome, and the
extra help has helped me at work!

I would imagine that those who work in
a hospital could very easily be in an
hypnotized state more often than they
realize. I suspect more people (both
medical professionals and patients) could
benefit from those who have more
knowledge of what this tool can provide.
If you are in the profession, I encourage
you to check it out for yourself, and for
the benefit of those around you. Did you
know that some people can control their
blood flow, and if any of those people
were bleeding profusely, you could actually
tell them to have their blood flow into
their body, and to their organs, and, as
a result, they likely would not bleed as much?
The mind is a powerful place to be, and
when you understand hypnosis, it gives a
broader field of understanding to work
from, providing some potentially incredible
opportunities.
Have a great weekend.
